Albert Pfannkuch started building homes in South Venice as early as 1959, for William Pfannkuch, building homes start to finish was not his focus. William spent his years as a sub-contractor, while completing homes and multi-family projects for PGI, Waterford, KB, Centex, and Lennar, just to mention a few. Only building a few “Start to finish” for aquaitances or someone on our team. More and more folks saw the product and asked us to build their home, this is when Matriarca builders was formed to build your home “start to finish”.
Most builders in the market have very few tradesmen on their payroll, utilizing Sub-contractors. This is not the case with Matriarca, we “in house” land clear, slab and block, framing, roof, insulation, drywall, stucco, and paint. This is your home without additional overhead and unknown timelines. Our other trades like Architectural, electrical, plumbing, and A/C are NOT bid out they are done by our trade partners who put your home first.
It is something that we are proud of, as we have never had a home for sale, it is only something that we have done for ourselves, or our customer. Our new home clients have walked through a lived-in, completed home to see the kind of quality that sets us apart, then it’s time to meet with one of the best architects in Florida, Elaine.
Once you have decided exactly what you want, we begin the build. You can expect a beautiful home made to order for you. In 2019 we completed over 500 units for 2 customers and 5 new homes for our clients. We don’t claim to, or even want to be, the “Biggest” we just strive to be the best.
